Sai Brindavan or the Deshmukhi temple is pleasantry place for outing from Hyderabad.
Right at the edge of Ranga Reddy district in newly formed Telangana state and towards south east near to Nalgonda border we have the Sai Baba temple in the name as “Sai Brindavan”. It’s just walk-able distance from Vignan Institute of Technology and Science and this mandir is located on a 200 feet hilly rock top. People visit this temple to get blessing from Sai Baba and also to enjoy calm and serine atmosphere with fresh air just within the outskirt of Hyderabad city.
This beautiful Sai Baba temple was established in 2000. People also come here to enjoy couple of hours on weekend just to get them refreshed for busy city life. As you see in any Hindu temple, there are distribution of food round the clock in the name and Sai Nama Sankeerthanam is held since a long time. There is also Lord Shiva statue in premises as well.
There is proposal that there will be 108 feet Sai Baba statue in Yoga Mudra posture to be made but until now no construction work has started.
Deshmukhi village is the center of many engineering colleges like Vignan Institure of Technology and Science, Nizam Institute of Engineering and Technology, St Mary’s Group of Institutions, Arjun College of Engineering. The temple has been ideal tour for students from these nearby colleges.
How to Reach
On National Highway Number 9 from Vijaywada to Mumbai and just before you enter leave Hyderabad-Mumbai, near Ramoji Film City and back of Mount Opera, Sai Brindavan is situated in Deshmukhi village. As soon as you enter the main road leading to Deshmukhi near Batasingaram, there is a big ‘kaman’ with Sai Brindavan written on it. You can travel by Car with GPS navigation and also you can reach via TSRTC bus service to Deshmukhi temple with route number 463 starting from Dilsukhnagar at 9:30 AM, 12:15 PM, 4:30 PM and 7:15 PM.
