Facebook first phone will be known as HTC First and its now officially launched. It will not be a high-end smartphone but a mid-range phone specifically designed for Facebook access directly from home. Sporting 4.3 inches 1280 x 720p HD display screen it will be powered with 1 Ghz Qualcomm MSM8930 dual core processor.
It has 5 mega pixel mediocre camera on rear side along with 1.6 mega pixel front facing camera which can be used for video chat using the Facebook Messenger.

How Unique?
HTC First is a unique smartphone slightly different from others as it brings the following features –
- Facebook Home App Launched: The new Facebook Home is basically an app launcher making it easier for people to quickly access apps.
- Cover Feed: From the home screen people can directly access app content from the News Feed once your phone has been turned ON. With double tap to like a post and comment.
- Notifications: HTC First users will see bigger, bold and improved notitifications right on their home screen about anything relating to Facebook. This will make users more engaging and easier for them to interact.

HTC First AT&T USA
The First Facebook phone will be available via AT&T United States. The pre-order has been started from April 5 at $99 with two years contract and the device will be shipped from April 12 and at AT&T local stores it will reach on April 12. Unlocked handset will also be sold at $450.
Orange Telecom in France
Orange Telecom has shown up interest in coming up with HTC First.
4G EE in UK
4G EE has already setup a page for those who are interested in HTC First Facebook phone and details of availability is still not yet known.
