- Now provide your Country/Region and then your phone number and click on Next.
- A SMS containing verification code will be sent your phone. If you have received it then click on “I have received the verification code” or else “Get verification code again” to start the procedure again.
- Now provide the new password, and the verification code and then hit Ok.
- Visit your mobile app and try to login with new password and User ID.
- If you are useful then you have updated your password.
Reset WeChat Password by Email
For those who have registered using their email ID, you should know the email to recover your account. Follow the simple procedure mentioned here –
- Open Reset password via email on your PC.
- Provide the email address and then click on Next.
- You will then receive Verification code via email, so check your mail inbox.
- In the next page, you will see – if you have received it then click on “I have received the verification code” or else “Get verification code again” to start the procedure again.
- Now provide the new password, and the verification code and then hit Ok.
- Visit your mobile app and try to login with new password and User ID.
